Welcome everyone to my website.  I will give you a little information on my background so that you know a little about me.

I grew up in South Pasadena, CA and attended South Pasadena High School.  After graduating, I attended Cal State Long Beach for one year.  I subsequently transferred from Long Beach to Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN where I graduated with a General Communication degree and with a minor in Spanish and a minor in History.  After graduating from Purdue, I attended Whittier Law School.

During my time at Whittier Law School I worked for Wallin & Klarich, a Professional Corporation, one of the largest criminal defense firms in all of California.  While at Wallin & Klarich I learned a great deal under the tutelage of Paul J. Wallin.  Paul Wallin taught me all about the criminal justice system and what attorneys can do for their clients.  Also while there, I helped expand the firm’s practice from just criminal defense work to family law.

After leaving Wallin & Klarich in the fall of 2007, I then began working for my father’s law firm - the Law Offices of Luis A. Carrillo - as a law clerk.  I have since worked there as a law clerk until I recently passed the California State Bar exam.  As a law clerk, and subsequently as an attorney, working for the Law Offices of Luis A. Carrillo I have learned much more about civil lawsuits including in the area of civil rights, personal injury, and business litigation.
